Volunteer of the Month - June/July

June's Volunteer of the Month - Georgia Hodde

The staff has come to depend on Georgia for her dedication and commitment to the library. She has been one of the most entrusted volunteers we have at the library. The Wells Branch community it very fortunate to have such a committed volunteer.

July's Volunteer of the Month - Jay Jackson

Jay has volunteererd at the Austin History Center and we are now fortunate to have her here at WBCL. She has been recognized on numerous occasions for her great work ethic and the quality of her works as a shelver at our library. She has been volunteering since February, and has been very dependable and reliable. We all appreciate her very much.

Thank you volunteers for all you do!

Weeding Help Needed

Our landscape volunteer extraordinaire has requested another volunteer's assistance in maintaining our beautifully landscaped areas at the library. This would mostly entail weeding.

Please contact Dani if you are intersted: danielle@wblibrary.org

Summer Reading Club Kick-Off! Volunteers Needed.

Adult Summer Reading Club
Allison will be doing a summer reading club kick-off event on Friday the 10th, and Saturday the 11th. If you can give some time helping her hand out reading club materials that would be great.

Children's and Teen's Summer Reading Club
We also need a couple of volunteers for the kick-off event for children and teens this next Saturday (June 11th).

Please contact me (Dani) if you are interested in volunteering: danielle@wblibrary.org

Inventory Days! Yes, so soon!

We are repairing the library parking lot and have decided to take advantage of this time and do another inventory day (or two). We will be cleaning, reorganizing, moving shelves, etc. If you would like to come in and help, please do! Let me (Dani) know when to expect you though, so we are looking for you at the door. You will have to park in the street to get to the library. Park safely.
